Education and institutional development
EGN ConnectX India 2026 is scheduled for 3–4 November at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.
The conference brings together school leaders, university representatives, policymakers, education technology companies and other stakeholders to discuss AI in classrooms, curriculum reform, digital campuses and future-ready learning.
The programme includes educator workshops, a Student Innovation Arena with pitch challenges and hackathons, and discussions on AI-led research and higher education.
The event comes as India begins integrating computational thinking and AI into school education for Classes 3 to 8 under the 2026–27 curriculum.
Why it matters: The conversation around AI education is moving from introducing tools to implementing them effectively. Institutions need to consider teacher readiness, student learning outcomes, practical activities and responsible AI usage.
What educational institutions should take away: AI education requires more than organising occasional workshops. Students need sustained exposure to practical projects, technical problem-solving and opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities.
For education providers and institutional partners, this creates an opportunity to connect AI learning with measurable student development and career readiness.
